Tell me about the grades of topsoil you deliver?

We deliver Screened and Certified grades of topsoil. As the title implies, our screened soil has been cleared of weeds, rocks and other debris that make it difficult to manage.

Meanwhile, our Certified grade is also known as British Standard topsoil. This grade is laboratory tested, free of toxic elements and highly fertile.

Both grades are suitable for most gardens. However, Certified soil is often chosen by clients who want to go the extra yard for prestigious projects. We also source organic and generic brands of compost.

How do we calculate our order?

Generally defined, 1 ton is required to cover an area of 15 sq meters at a depth of 1 inch. As cited above you’ll need a depth of at least 2 inches to create a fertile base for turf and flora to develop.
